I had the honor of having two artworks selected for the 2021 Midwest Juried Art Exhibition sponsored by the Midwest Center for Photography in Wichita.
The first image is new work from the Palouse region in eastern Washington. I visited there again in October of 2020 and photographed high on Steptoe Butte in the cold dawn, happily. The second image was photographed shortly after a wildfire in central Washington in an area that is very important to me. I have been hiking and photographing in the Evans Canyon area for the past 15 years, and to see it charred was very intense. My goal is to create a portfolio from the images I created there after the fire and have that exhibited.
